This was shot while walking towards the Brooklyn Bridge walkway just after the sun had set and the lights were coming on. The building in the middle is the Thurgood Marshall Courthouse and the on the left is the David N. Dinkins Municipal Building.
Another shot of the 5th Avenue clock and the Flatiron building in New York. The clock was a landmark for the Fifth Avenue Building which is now the Toy Center, a complex of buildings that now are hub for toy manufacturers and distributors in the US.

A very common scene of yellow cabs in New York, whizzing past the tall skyscrapers. However, these ones look a bit more modern than the ones shown in the movies!
Another one from the Lumiere London Light Festival. The cinema kept changing into different colours and it was a nice backdrop against the busses whizzing past.
Standing in the middle of road while buses whizzed past and trying to take a long exposure is an interesting experience!
At the time of taking the picture, I didn’t think that was a good image. I didn’t like the angle and the bright lights. But after looking at it on the computer screen, I liked how the light trails show the Union Jack colours.
This was the highlight of the London Lumiere festival for me. The bright, changing colours on the facade made the sculptures and intricate design feel almost “alive”.
